At the Gulf Coast Invitational, St. Gregory's used a 2-run first to go on and hold off the Bees of SCAD by a 3-0 score.

Sharon Bell dazzled on the mound for the 2nd time on the first day, going the distance and fanning 10 batters while allowing only 3 hits to the opposing batters. Bell bested SCAD's Kristen Curette, who got the loss after going 5 innings, allowing 7 hits and fanning 2.

Jessica Reed, Kayla Jackson and Jessica Munson were the leading hitters for the victors, while SCAD's Kayla Tom, Curette, and Courtney Mienkina collected their team's only hits.
