Lady Rams Sign Another for 2008-09

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile softball program announced another signing for the 2008-09 season.

UM Head Coach Terri McCormick signed Nikki Zambrano to play for the Lady Rams next season. Zambrano played high school ball at Italy High School and competed last year for Northeast Texas Community College.

"I'm very excited," Nikki said about her reaction to getting the offer from Mobile.

For Northeast Texas Community College, Zambrano posted a .578 batting average, with 5 doubles, 6 walks, 14 RBIs and 10 stolen bases
