MOBILE, Ala--- The NAIA released the 2008 Preseason Softball Top-25 and the University of Mobile finds itself ranked #13.

In 2007, the Lady Rams finished ranked #12 and made an appearance at the NAIA National Championships. The Lady Rams won the NAIA National Championship in 2006.

This season, Mobile is returning all but 1 player from last season's squad and the team will be lead by new Head Coach Terri McCormick.

Yaicey Sojo was named 1st-Team NAIA All-American last season after hitting .436 with 14 homers and a .562 on-base percentage.

Anchoring the pitching staff are returning pitchers Ginger Reeser and Nikki Madden, who combined to rack up 33 wins in 2007.

The Lady Rams will open the 2008 campaign February 18th at Thomas University.
