Mobile softball extends winning streak to 20 games with doubleheader sweep of Belhaven College

JACKSON, Miss. -- The University of Mobile pounded Belhaven College 10-5 and 15-3 to sweep a softball doubleheader Tuesday afternoon in Jackson, Miss., extending the Rams winning streak to 20 games.

Kirby Baxter (16-2) got the win in the opener and Ann McLean (13-1) tossed a five hitter in the nightcap.

Brenda Box scored four runs and had two RBI and a stolen base, Denisse Fuenmayor had two doubles, five runs scored and three RBI, Stephanie Landrum scored four runs and had three RBI and a stolen base while Winter Guthrie had four RBI, including a three-run home run on the day for Mobile.

Mobile (35-5) meets Millsaps College today at 2 p.m.
