Rams split with Badgers

MOBILE, Ala. -- Spring Hill College's Aracely Rodriguez tossed a seven-hit shutout as the Lady Badgers defeated fourth-ranked University of Mobile (38-6) 6-0 Saturday afternoon in the second game of a doubleheader ending Mobile's 23 game winning streak.

Mobile won the opener 5-3, rallying from a 3-1 deficit to score four runs in the top of the seventh inning.  Kirby Baxter (17-2) went all seven innings scattering five hits, allowing three runs and striking out four.

Mobile will next be in action on Thursday, April 8 when the team travels to Hattiesburg, Miss. to battle William Carey College.
