Lady Rams Ranked No. 14
KANSAS CITY, Mo—The University of Mobile Lady Rams are ranked 14th in the latest NAIA Softball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Tuesday.
The Lady Rams (26-7) fell four spots from their previous No. 10 national ranking after splitting with rival Spring Hill and dropping a pair at Belhaven College. The Lady Rams received 336 points for the No. 14 ranking.
Gulf Coast Athletic Conference member William Carey remains at No. 7 in the poll, while Belhaven College is receiving 25 points in the latest poll. California Baptist holds down the top spot, followed by Point Loma Nazarene and Lubbock Christian.
Mobile will visit No. 7 William Carey University Thursday, April 9th for a 3:00 pm double header. The Lady Crusaders lead the GCAC with a 5-1 conference mark, while Mobile is two games back at 3-3.
