Pimentel Earns Weekly Award
The 10th-ranked Lady Rams went 3-1 on the week, splitting a double header with NCAA Div I foe Birmingham-Southern and sweeping 5th-ranked William Carey. The offense, led by Pimentel was a big reason why. The junior second baseman went 5-for-5 at the plate in a double-header sweep of 5th-ranked William Carey. She also cranked a homer and added a double in the sweep of the GCAC foe. She also went 3-for-4 with 1 RBI in a 5-2 victory over NCAA Div I foe Birmingham Southern. Pimentel slugged 1.083 and posted a 0.667 on-base percentage. On the season, Pimentel is batting .376, slugging .720 and leads the team with 27 RBIs. Pimentel and the Lady Rams host GCAC opponent Belhaven Thursday, April 17th at 3:00. |
