Meghan Chisholm Signs With The University Of Mobile
MOBILE, Ala. – Just a day prior
to leaving for the NAIA National Tournament, University of Mobile softball
head coach Becky Clark signed East Central High School first baseman
Meghan Chisholm to a scholarship to play for the Rams.
Winner of four straight 4A
state titles East Central High School and head coach Tracy Box will miss
Chisholm who started at first base for the last two years.
“Meghan has been a great leader
for our young athletes by always giving 110 percent,” Coach Box said.
“She’s always motivating her teammates, and always providing a good
Christian atmosphere for our team.”
Graduating 23rd out
of a senior class of 141 with a 3.8 GPA Chisholm will enter the University
of Mobile’s four year nursing program.
“We’re
excited to have someone of her work ethic and character joining our team,”
Coach Clark said. “She’s coming from a winning program. She’ll be a good
fit for the University. She’s going to contribute to the team in a variety
of ways both on and off the field.”
