After helping the University of Mobile to a second-place finish at the 2008 NAIA National Championships, McCormick begins her third season at the helm of the University of Mobile softball program.

McCormick is a 1997 graduate of the University of Mobile and became the softball program's first three-time NAIA All-American. After playing volleyball at Mississippi College for two years, she transferred to play softball at UM in 1993. In 1996, McCormick was named GCAC Player of the Year. McCormick earned both her bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and her master’s degree in education from UM.

McCormick was an integral part of the development of the Spring Hill program during the first three years. She helped lead the inaugural team to a Top 25 ranking in 1998, and in the second season helped lead the team to a 3rd place finish at the NAIA National Championship.

McCormick's other experiences include executive director of the North Mobile YMCA, management with the United Parcel Service, and softball coach at Satsuma High School.

The Satsuma, Alabama native is married to UM graduate Ken McCormick.

Assistant Softball Coach

Ginger Reeser

Ginger begins her second season as assistant coach after pitching for the Lady Rams for two seasons.

In those two seasons, Reeser racked up a 42-11 record with 41 complete games over 347.2 innings pitched. The lefty posted a 1.61 ERA and fanned 222 batters. She went 24-3 last season to help guide Mobile to a second place finish at the 2008 NAIA National Championships.

Reeser is a two-time All-GCAC selection, including being named GCAC Pitcher of the Year in 2008. She was also named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete in 2008, and was a 1st-Team All-Region selection.

The Monticello, IL native is largely responsible for working with the teams' pitchers and catchers, along the normal day-to-day tasks.

Assistant Softball Coach

Jessica McIntyre

After playing on the University of Mobile softball team for four seasons and being a part of the Lady Rams' 2006 National Championship Team, Jessica will begin her second season as an assistant coach in 2010.

While playing first base for Mobile, McIntyre posted a career .315 batting average in 144 games, while driving in 71 runs. She is a two-time Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete and was a 1st-Team All-GCAC selection in 2007.

The Decatur, AL native's main coaching duties will be to oversee hitting and defense.
