Lady Rams Climb To Top-20
The Lady Rams (14-0) garnered 265 points, 54 behind 19th-ranked Indiana Institute of Technology and 10 ahead of 21st-ranked Olivet Nazarene. California schools Fresno Pacific, California Baptist, Concordia and Biola make up the top four spots in the poll. The no. 20 ranking is the highest in school history for the Lady Rams, besting the previous two rankings of 22 and 24. The highest ranked team in the poll that the Lady Rams have beaten is Lee University, which ranks 5th among teams receiving votes in the poll. Mobile beat the Lady Flames 3-1 September, 20th. Eight of the 14 victories on the season have been 3-0 shutout wins, and Mobile has only been taken to five sets once, a 3-2 win over NCAA-III Birmingham Southern.
