Lady Rams Honored For Weekend Performance

MOBILE, Ala-- Syretta Baldwin, Whitney Knight, Nicole Stokes and Tasha Buchanan were all awarded for their performances this weekend at the Cumberland University Tournament.

The Lady Rams swept the field at the tournament, going 4-0, and those 4 were named to the All-Tournament Team. Baldwin was named the tournament's MVP.

On the weekend, Baldwin finished with 65 kills on a .437 hitting percentage, and 28 digs. The junior also finished play with 15 blocks. Knight finished with 64 kills and 7 aces, while also leading the squad with 51 digs.

Serving as the team's setters, Stokes and Buchanan finished with 96 and 84 assists, respectively. Stokes added 7 aces and 27 digs, while Buchanan chipped in 8 aces and 31 digs for the 13-2 Lady Rams.

Mobile next plays Tuesday, September 25th at home versus GCAC foe Loyola University. The match will start at 7:30 pm.
