Lady Rams take down Huntingdon and prepare for big match

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile Lady Rams volleyball team took down Huntingdon College 3-0 (30-16, 30-27, 30-19) Tuesday night, and look toward a crucial matchup Thursday.

Paula Stilkey came through with 8 blocks and 10 digs, while Syretta Baldwin posted 5 blocks and 16 kills to help pace the Lady Rams' attack. Nicole Stokes led the way with 26 assists and chipped in with 9 digs, while GCAC Player of the Week Whitney Knight had 14 kills.

Following the win, the Lady Rams immediately turned their attention to Thursday's home match versus Lee University. With fellow Region XIII contender Berry losing, the match, which starts at 7:30, could very well be for first place and the right to host the upcoming Regional Tournament.

The Lady Rams will head into the match on a 24-game winning streak after running their record to 26-1.
