Lady Rams win 28th match of the year

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile Lady Rams defeated Faulkner 30-23, 29-31, 30-19, 30-26 Tuesday night at Faulkner. The victory is the second straight for Mobile after dropping back-to-back matches to Lee and Belhaven at home. The win also runs the team's record to 28-3.

Whitney Knight continues to dominate as she put up 17 kills and 23 digs, while Tasha Buchanan finished the match with 20 assists and 25 digs. Paula Stilkey added 10 kills and 7 blocks for the Lady Rams.

Brittany Latham and Syretta Baldwin were the other Rams to post double-digit kill totals, with 10 apiece.

Mobile returns to action on Halloween night at home versus Faulkner University. The match is slated to start at 7:30.
