Lady Rams Fall in GCAC Finals

NEW ORLEANS, Louis-- The University of Mobile volleyball team defeated Spring Hill College Saturday afternoon to advance to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Game and then fell to Loyola University.

The Lady Badgers put up a fight in the opening game, but the Lady Rams of Mobile held on for the 30-27 victory and went on to complete the sweep with 30-20 and 30-24 victories in games 2 and 4, respectively.

In the Championship match, the Wolfpack won 3-1 (30-26, 31-29, 20-30, 30-25). The Lady Rams fall to 31-5 on the season and will host the Region XIII Tournament Nov. 16-17. The winner of the regional tournament earns a bid to the NAIA National Tournament in Missouri.
