Jan. 11, 2005 Men's and women's teams rise in NAIA Top 25 Poll MOBILE, Ala. -- The University of Mobile men's and women's basketball teams, each off to a 3-0 perfect start in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action, both moved up in this week's NAIA Top 25 Poll the NAIA announced on Tuesday. The men's team (14-3, 3-0) moved up two spots to No. 16 after defeating Dillard University, William Carey College and Loyola University New Orleans in their first three conference games of the year. The Rams are led by senior duo Tramaine Perry and Gimel Lewis. Perry leads the team at 15.5 points a game and Lewis leads in the team in rebounding at 5.5 rebounds a contest. Senior Gabe Feagin has dished out 76 assists this season and has a 2.3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio in 17 games. The women's team (12-3, 3-0) made the biggest move in this week women's Top 25 poll moving up eight spots from No. 25 to No. 17. The Rams have also begun conference season at 3-0 with wins over Dillard University, William Carey College and Loyola University New Orleans. Crystal Coston leads Mobile with 19.9 points per game and 10.6 rebounds a contest, but junior, forward, Kinga Rybarczyk, has averaged 22.3 points per game in each of the first three conference games. Both teams will play at home on Thursday, Jan. 13 against Gulf Coast Athletic Conference rival, Belhaven College.
