Lady Rams Dominate SUNO, Stay Perfect in GCAC

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team dominated Southern University at New Orleans from the tip and moved its Gulf Coast Athletic Conference record to 4-0 with an 85-51 victory at home.

The Lady Rams opened the first half with an 11-0 and built up their lead to 15 at the half, thanks to a stingy defense that forced 17 SUNO turnovers and held the visitors to 33% shooting from the field. Conversely, the Lady Rams hit 57% of their shots in the opening frame.

In the second half, the Lady Rams made sure there would not be a comeback, as they opened the frame with a 14-0 run to put the game out of reach. The defense again played a big role, forcing 15 more turnovers and holding SUNO to a meager 25% from the field.
