UM Women Keeps Rolling With 86-67 Win Over Belhaven

MOBILE, Ala. – The UM women made it look academic as they made quick work of the Belhaven College Blazers (6-9, 1-3) in a 86-67 win Thursday evening at the Pharr. A 30-point and 12 rebounds performance by Kinga Rybarczyk paved the way for the Rams as they improved to 13-3 overall and 4-0 in the GCAC.

Taking a commanding 49-26 lead into the half, the Rams shot 59.4 percent from the field and never looked back. More importantly, Mobile held the Blazers to 36 percent from the field.

Crystal Coston chipped in with 22 points and 12 rebounds and Sandra Kostandinovic added 17 for the top-ranked GCAC team.

Belhaven was led by Tamekia Foley’s 29 points and Ebonee Leverette’s 10.

The Rams will square off against LSU-Shreveport Saturday, Jan. 15, in Shreveport, La.
