Ledwaba Earns Conference Honor

MOBILE, Ala. -- The University of Mobile Lady Rams' Emmerentia Ledwaba was named to the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference's All-Conference team Thursday.

The senior from St. Pietersburg, South Africa averaged 12.4 points and 8.7 rebounds per game for the Lady Rams. Aside from leading Mobile in rebounding on the season, Ledwaba posted a team-leading 9 double-doubles and garnered garnered national recognition when she was named NAIA National Player of the Week January 17th. The forward posted 3 double-doubles in 3 games during that week to take home the honors.

The Lady Rams and Ledwaba will take on LSU-Shreveport today in the 2nd round of the GCAC Tournament, looking to extend their season. Mobile finished the season with a 19-11 overall record and a 11-7 conference mark.
