MOBILE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL CRUISE TO SEASON OPENING WIN

     MOBILE, Ala. – The UM women (1-0) cruised to an 83-24 win over Oakwood College in their season opener. Led by Crystal Coston’s 17 points and Kinga Rybarczyk’s 11 the Rams won handily in a game in which they had as much as a 64 point lead.

The Rams opened up with a 35-0 lead in the first half as they shot 61 percent on 27-of-44 shooting from the floor.

Mobile, who also out-rebounded their opponent 42-18, will square off against Georgia Southwestern State University on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Spring Hill Tip-Off Classic. They will close out the tournament against Southern Polytechnic University at 1 p.m.
