RAMS SNAP TWO GAME SKID WITH 73-58 WIN OVER MILLSAPS
MOBILE,
Ala. – Led by Crystal Coston’s 21-point and 12 rebounds double-double,
the University of Mobile (6-4) snapped a two game losing skid with
a 73-58 win over Millsaps College (2-5).
The Millsaps
College Lady Majors held their only lead, 18-16, of the game with 8:16
remaining in the first half. The Rams responded as Coston started a
7-0 run that helped Mobile go into the half with a 32-27 lead.
Forcing
11 second half turnovers the Rams capitalized by going on several runs
to cruise to their sixth victory.
UM, who
shot a solid 50 percent from the field, was also led by Keli Sargusa’s
10 points and Jessica Barber’s 9 points and 7 assists.
The Lady
Majors were led by Jillian Compton’s 21 points and Becky McDole’s 11.
The Rams
will have a three week hiatus before returning to action against the
University of West Alabama on Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. in Livingston, Ala.
