CALERA, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in 12th place at the Ann Rhoades/ Birmingham Southern Shootout Tuesday. Samford University won the event with a two-round score of 635, while the Lady Rams finished with a shot total of 676 to finish 12th. Maegan Rice paced Mobile by firing a 162 on the two-day event. Meghan Dove finished with a 165, Carlie Bloomer shot a 172, Samantha Goettsch collected a 179 and Lindsey Miller finished at 182. Rice's score put her in a tie for 21st among individual golfers, 14 strokes behind leader Daniela Vargas of Shorter. Mobile next competes March 3-4 at the Spring Hill Spectacular in Mobile, Alabama.
