MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team carded a +116 692 (340, 352) to win the Spring Hill Badger Invitational Tuesday.
Lady Ram teammates Maegan Rice and Erika Lundberg keyed the victory with 1st and 2nd place finishes, respectively. Rice shot a 13-over-par 157 (75, 82), while Lundberg finished 4 strokes back with a 161 (80, 81).
Taylor Lee tied for 10th by shooting 41-over 185 (91, 94) and Abbie Harris finished at 17th with a 189 (94, 95 +45). Cori Byrd shot a 222 (113, 109) for Mobile.
Round 1: Rice and Lundberg 1st and 2nd After Opening Round
MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team is in first place after the opening round of the Spring Hill Badger Invite held at the Spring Hill College Golf Course.
The Lady Rams shot an opening-round 340 on the par-72 course, led by Maegan Rice and Erika Lundberg. Rice used a 36 on the front nine to finish with a 75 and the individual lead, while Lundberg carded a 37 over the back nine to finish with an 80 and a second-place finish.
Taylor Lee tied for 9th with a 91, Abbie Harris carded a 94, and Cori Byrd shot a 113 for Mobile.
Lindenwood University is in 2nd place, 25 strokes back, while Spring Hill shot an opening-round 374 and is in 3rd.
