Day Three: Rice Sits At 34-Over 250
RAPID CITY, S.D.-- The University of Mobile's Maegan Rice carded a 13-over 85 in the third round of the 2009 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Rapid City, S.D.
Rice is one of nine individual qualifiers competing in the event along with 28 teams. The final round will take place Friday.
Oklahoma City's Sydney Cox leads the field with a 7-over 223 (77, 73, 73). Rice is tied for 59th in the field of 144 golfers with a 34-over 250 (85, 80, 85).
The two-time NAIA All-American was competing in her third straight NAIA Championship.
Day Two: Rice Cards An 80 In Windy Conditions
RAPID CITY, S.D.-- The University of Mobile's Maegan Rice carded a second-round 8-over 80 to move up to 48th on the individual leader board at the 2009 NAIA Women's Golf National Championship Wednesday.
The two-time All-American sits at 21-over 165 for the tournament after recording the 80 in windy conditions that featured wind gusts of 40 mph.
California Baptist's Adriana Niclotti leads the pack at 5-over 149 after shooting a 6-over 78 in round two. There are two rounds left in the tournament.
Rice is only nine strokes out of a top-ten finish, as the No. 10 spot is shared with two players, sitting at 12-over 156.
Day One: Rice Shoots Opening-Round 85

Rice is tied for 99th with 54 holes over three rounds left to play. She finished with a 13-over 85. California Baptist's Adriana Niclotti leads the pack with a 1-under 71.
She is one of nine individual qualifiers who join 28 teams to make up the field. The championship is being held at Meadowbrook Municipal Golf Course.
The junior from Florence, Ala. is at her third straight NAIA National Championship.
At the 2008 National Championship, Rice carded a four-round +40 328 (79, 82, 86, 81) for the Lady Rams. At the 2007 National Championship, Rice fired a 24-over 312 (78, 78, 82, 74) to finish 10th.
