Women's golf announces schedule changes MOBILE, Ala. -- The University of Mobile women's
golf team announced their 2005 fall schedule on Monday after the
original schedule had to be changed due to Hurricane Katrina.
The Rams, who were previously scheduled to open up play
today against Nicholls State University in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi,
will now begin play on Friday, Sept. 30 in a three day tournament at
Western Carolina University in Waynesville, North Carolina.
Three weeks later, the Rams will head to Rome, Georgia
to compete against Berry College on Oct. 17-18. On Oct. 30-Nov.
1, Mobile will head to St. Augustine, Florida to face Flagler College
before rounding out their fall schedule on Nov. 12-14 in the UM Fall
Classic played at Azalea City Golf Course in Mobile.
Head coach Maggie Kendall begins her first year as the
women's golf coach after taking over for former women's golf coach Dr.
Terry Hopper in May of 2005. Dr. Hopper will remain coaching the
men's golf team in 2005-06.
