Rice And Kirby Finish 1 and 2
OLD HICKORY, Tenn-- The University of Mobile's Maegan Rice and Taylor Kirby finished 1st and 2nd at the Trevecca Fall Invitational Tuesday.
The University of Mobile women's golf team finished finished 5th out of 6 teams after carding a two-round 670 (335, 335, +94) in the tournament. Lindsey Wilson won the tournament with a 635 (324, 311, + 29).
Rice, a two-time NAIA All-American carded a 6-over 150 (75, 75) for top individual honors, while Kirby finished with a +9 153 (73, 80) to finish 2nd.
Abbie Harris shot a 175 (92, 83), while Taylor Lee finished with a 192 (95, 97).
Round 1: Lady Rams 11 Strokes Back
OLD HICKORY, Tenn-- The University of Mobile women's golf team is in 5th place after the opening round of the Trevecca Fall Invitational Monday, hosted by Trevecca Nazarene University.
Lindsey Wilson College leads the pack with a 36-over 324, while the Lady Rams sit 11 strokes back after firing an opening-round 47-over 335.
Mobile teammates Taylor Kirby and Maegan Rice hold down the top two spots among individual golfers after round one. Kirby sits at No. 1 after carding a 1-over 73, while Rice shot a 3-over 75 to take second place.
Abbie Harris finished with a 20-over 92 and Taylor Lee finished with a 23-over 95.There are six teams and 37 golfers overall at the tournament which is being held at the Par-72 Old Hickory Country Club.
