Women's Soccer Signs Another

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer program announced the signing of Allison Werdung for the 2008-09 season.

Werdung is a JUCO transfer from Pensacola, but she did not play on the juco team, instead playing for the Pensacola Football Club.

"We are looking forward to her comeing in because she comes from a solid club team and has played at a very high level," Lady Rams' Head Coach Brian Person said.

She is the Lady Rams' 4th signee and offers versatility to play in the attacking midfield, right midfield and forward spots on the team.

"Allison did very well at our tryout and possessess the technical skills to add to our ability to possess the ball better and create more opportunities in the attack," Person stated.

Mobile will begin the 2008 season at home on August 22nd against Texas College at 7:00 pm.
