University of Mobile signs VonEberstein to soccer scholarship

MOBILE, Ala. -- Kristie VonEberstein, a graduate of Gulf Shores High School, signed a scholarship to play soccer with the University of Mobile head coach Uwe Tittl announced on Monday.VonEberstein, who was recently named as a 2004 All-Baldwin County Player, also played varsity basketball for the Dolphins and was voted “Most Athletic” by her senior class.

A three-year letterman in soccer, VonEberstein was voted “Offensive Player of the Year” her senior year at Gulf Shores High School.

In 2002-03, VonEberstein attended Suwanne Soccer Camp and was named American Legion “Athlete of the Year.”

In addition to athletics, VondEberstein was a member of the Interact Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Babysitting Club, Juniorettes, Beach Clean-up Committee and the Art Club.
