Lady Rams Get Big Result at Montevallo

MONTEVALLO, Ala— The University of Mobile women’s soccer team battled NCAA Div II, 16th-ranked Montevallo to a 0-0 double-overtime tie on the road Thursday evening.

The Lady Rams went into the game off a 5-0 victory over Texas College, and performed very well in a big early-season match up.

“It was an absolute battle,” Mobile Head Coach Brian Person said. “They had a few more chances, but it was a pretty even game. Overall it was a good performance and a very good result for us, especially this early in the season.”

Mobile (1-0-1) will be put to the test again Tuesday, September 2nd at West Florida in a 7:00 pm game.
