Rams Fall To William Carey 4-1
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -
The University of Mobile women’s soccer team dropped to 3-7
following a 4-1 loss suffered at the hands of the William Carey
College Crusaders. Four different players contributed as the
Crusaders improved to 4-6 on the year.
William Carey got things going
early in the 45th second as Audia Sullivan scored to put the
Crusaders up 1-0. Two more goals by Emilia Johnson and Sinead Finnegan
gave the Crusaders a 3-0 advantage at the half.
The Rams’ Rose Clemenson scored
their lone goal less than a minute into the second half with a beautiful
shot 15 yards out.
Another goal
by Jessica Clavier in the 69th minute was the nail in the
coffin as Mobile will now have to wait until Sept. 11, when they play host
to St. Francis College of Indiana, to end a five-game losing streak.
