Lady Rams Fall At Home To Unbeaten Crusaders

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team fell 3-0 at home to unbeaten William Carey University Tuesday evening.

The 16th-ranked Lady Crusaders kept the pressure on all game, out shooting Mobile 28-9, and holding a 16-7 edge in shots on goal. Despite the constant barrage of shots, the Lady Rams were able to hold the Lady Crusaders off the scoreboard until Danielle Princiotta knocked in her own rebound with 13:34 left to play in the first half. Then, Shannon Steffen tallied 2 second-half goals to finish the scoring.

Susanne Klungtveit came through with 13 saves for the Lady Rams, who fall to 2-11-1 on the season. Mobile stays home to host LSU-Shreveport in another Gulf Coast Athletic Conference match up Thursday, October 11th at 7:00 pm.

The Lady Crusaders move to 15-0 on the season.
