With the win, the Rams now advance to the region semi-finals against AUM to be played on Friday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. in Montgomery, Ala.

Spring Hill got the equalizer in the 28th minute as a corner played in by Ashley Clarkin was headed in by Kristie Murphy.

Spring Hill continued to press however it was four big saves by senior goalkeeper, Sarah Cabaniss that kept the Badgers at bay.

“Sarah came up with some big saves and that’s the difference in the game,” Coach Uwe Tittl said. “Her getting two or three big saves meant the difference.”

Clemenson, who leads the Rams with 35 points (16 goals, 3 assists), scored the game-winner in the 50th minute as she headed in a corner played in by Allison Miller.

“Rose has been doing it for us all season long,” Coach Tittl said. “I tip my hat off to Spring Hill’s keeper because we had three or four great chances to score goals and she came up big. She’s an All-American keeper and she sure showed it tonight.”
