Lady Rams Improve to 3-0 with 2 victories over the weekend

The University of Mobile Lady Rams tennis squad improved to 3-0 with a 7-2 victory at Huntingdon College Saturday morning, one day after beating University of Montevallo 8-1.

Rams improve to 2-0 on season with 8-1 win

MONTEVALLO, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season with an 8-1 win at the University of Montevallo.

SINGLES: Josey Soares (MOB) def. Kristi Kelly (UM) 6-0, 6-0; Lindsey McDaniel (MOB) def. Catie Cleveland (UM) 6-0, 6-0; Pam Boykin (MOB) def. Laura Hamilton (UM) 6-3, 6-4; Maria Aguirre (MOB) def. Terrylisa Abdool (UM) 6-3, 6-0; Ansley White (UM) def. Michelle Machen (MOB) 6-2, 6-1. MOB wins No. 6 singles by default.   

DOUBLES: McDaniel-Aguirre (MOB) def. Kelly-Cleveland (UM) 8-1; Soares-Boykin (MOB) def. Hamilton-Abdool (UM) 8-3.   

Mobile travels to Huntingdon College for a 9:00 AM start Saturday, Feb. 24th.
