NAIA National Tennis Tournament Kicks Off With Banquet

MOBILE, Ala-- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics kicked off it's 2007 Men's and Women's Tennis National Tournament with a banquet Sunday night, and Mobile's Lindsey McDaniel was honored.

The Lady Rams' senior brought home the NAIA Champions of Character Award and was named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete, which is awarded to athletes with GPA's over 3.5.

McDaniel and her teammates will start tournament play versus Savannah College of Art & Design at 1:00 Monday, May 14th at the Mobile Tennis Center.
