UM Women's Tennis Adds Local Product

MOBILE, Ala—The University of Mobile women’s tennis team announced the addition of a new member Thursday.

The Lady Rams signed Opp High School’s Ashley Hall. Hall lettered in tennis each of the past 3 years, including going undefeated in the regular season and sectional tournament in both singles and doubles play during her senior year.

She made it to the State Tournament in 2005 and 2007, and her team was runner up at sectionals in those same seasons. The National Society of High School Scholars and Mu Alpha Theta member won sectional championships in 2007 from the #3 spot in singles and the #2 spot in doubles.

Hall was recognized by the team for her play in each of the past two years, earning the Hustle Award in 2006 and garnering the Coaches 100% Award in 2007.
