Holly Person

Head Coach

Person begins her 1st year at the helm of the University of Mobile Cross Country programs. She received a B.A. in art and minored in Christian studies at the University of Mobile, while competing on the soccer team from 2001-2005.

Person’s cross country experience comes from her time as a cross country runner for West Valley High School in Fairbanks, Alaska. Her coaching experience comes from coaching many soccer camps and clubs.

She will be leading the men’s and women’s cross country programs that were reinstated for the fall of 2007, following a 3-year hiatus due to budgetary concerns. Before the cancellation, the two programs combined to make 19 trips to the NAIA National Championships and win 16 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Titles.

Person is very excited about taking over the storied programs and looks forward to taking them above and beyond their past success. She is also excited about making a difference in the student-athletes’ lives, while also molding them into successful cross country runners.
