MOBILE, Ala-- Here's a quick look at what's happening with nine athletes who have continued their playing careers after leaving Mobile (Stephen Okai, Michael Azira, Deshorn Brown, Sam Mahoney, J.C. Romero, Alice Honnery, Daphnee Frieson, Kyle McPherson and Antonio Hester).
UMobile Receives SSAC End of the Year Awards
MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile had some student-athletes and employees honored with the release of the 2013 Southern States Athletic Conference End of the Year Awards. Former men's soccer player Stephen Okai was tabbed the SSAC Male Athlete of the Year and Dr. Melissa Thomas was named the SSAC Athletic Trainer of the Year.
Baseball Caps Season With 3-2 Victory
COLUMBUS, Ga-- The University of Mobile baseball team closed out the 2013 season with a 3-2 victory over Brewton-Parker on the final day of pool play action at the 2013 Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament Friday afternoon. Mobile finishes the season with a 35-21 overall record.
