FREDDY G. AKINS, JR. and wife, Christi, live in Canon, GA. They have two children, Paige and Abby. ASHLEY ANDERS and husband J. David Anders, live in Mobile. Ashely is an RN at Mobile Infirmary. HEATHER BURKHALTER says: I've finally settled in Portland, after traveling throughout the US and Canada, and I'm currently a manager in some cubicle -- it pays the rent while I use all free time volunteering as an Event Coordinator for Disjecta Interdisciplinary Arts Center (www.disjecta.org) and slowly crawling up Portland's social scene. DOUGLAS COBURN and wife DARLA COBURN '98 live in Century, FL. They have three children- Bryan (18), Brandon (14) and Bama (2). Doug is self-employed as an Evangelist with a special focus on Missions and Darla works as a Nurse Manager. JENNIFER DANLEY lives in Hermitage, TN. She is a teacher for Metro Nashville Public Schools. She married Ramy Ibrahim on July 14, 2007. FORREST DERR is working at OEC here in Mobile, where he manages the IT Network. He also heads up their Web Services and Technology Division. His wife, AMBER HOVEN '98, is a stay at home mom to their only child, Brandon Thomas. MELEAH FARLOW and husband, Todd, live in High Point, NC. She is a self-employed music teacher with two children, McKenna and Braden. ALAN FATH lives in Mobile, AL. He is the Praise and Worship Associate in Student Music at Cottage Hill Baptist Church. He and wife Amanda have one child, Gracie. ALLISON BODIFORD GRAY is married to Jason Gray and they reside in Birmingham, AL. Allison is the Director of Administration for Integrated QSD, a Protective Life Company. Jason is finishing his degree in biology at UAB, with plans to continue his education in the medical field. ANDRES GIAMMETTEI, graduate of the Latin American Campus, lives in El Savador, Central America. He works for Banco Salvadoreño. Andres is married to Laura Alvarez and they have one daughter, Maria Paula. LEONORA "LEO" JERNIGAN HARRISON lives in Mobile. She is married to Nathan Harrison and works for the Mobile Symphony as an Administrative Assistant and Box Office Manager. DONNIE HATCHER and wife, Renee, live in Fort Worth, TX. Donnie is the Minister to Youth at First Baptist Church of Benbrook. GRETA GANDY HENDERSON and husband, Troy, recently moved to Cornwall, New York. Troy just finished his Ph.D in Mathematics and is starting an assistant professor position at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Greta is now staying at home with their little boy, Quinn, and they are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new little one in January of 2006. JAY JERRELL married JILL NAHRGANG '01 on December 1, 2001. They live in Centreville, AL, where Jay serves as the Youth Pastor at First Baptist Centreville. They were blessed with their first child, Samuel "Sam" Lee Jerrell on September 15, 2003. CARY '96 and ALISA LOWERY '98 moved in July, 2006, to Daphne, AL. Cary is the area director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Alisa is the administrative assistant to the ministry. They have one son, Kyler, age 7. FELIX MARADIAGA lives in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. He is the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense of Nicaragua. JAMIE LUNCEFORD PRESLEY is married to JOBIE PRESLEY '98 and they are living in Pensacola, FL. They have one child, Mackenzie Erin. Jamie is the Secretary for the Music and Theatre Department at Pensacola Junior College, and Jobie is the Student and Recreation Minister at East Hill Baptist Church. CHRIS QUICK: I just recently began a new job with a wonderful multi-cultural church in North Dallas. I support the computer systems of over 200 staff members and assist in maintaining the network between multiple church satellite locations throughout North Texas. The church has a membership base of approximately 10,000 and a growing relationship with many other churches throughout the nation. PAT RUDICELL, also an '88 graduate, is living in Daphne, AL. He is a teacher, working for the Special Education Action Committee as a Parent Educator. IVAN SABORIO lives in Miami, FL. He is a business owner and managing partner of SLS Music Productions, LLC. DOROTHY THOMPSON SAVAGE lives in New York, NY. She is an actress, performing in various stage shows and husband, Phillip, is the General Manager of the Cleveland Browns. KEITH STEWART lives in Fairhope, AL. He is a Senior Social Worker with the Department of Human Resources and recently obtained Private Social Work Practitioner certification. He and wife Benita, have two children, Zachary and Eleanor. DEANA MORRISON SULLIVAN lives in Nashville, TN. She is married to Scott Sullivan and is a stay-at-home mom to daughter, Haley Elizabeth. ROB SUMRALL is pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in DeQuincy, LA. He and his wife Michelle are the proud parents of Joshua and Laura Beth. LEIGHANN SWINDLE and husband, Scott, live in Spanish Fort, AL. She earned her Masters of Early Childhood Education and is now an ARI Regional Reading Coach for the Alabama State Department of Education. They have one child, Hunter. SHANNON NEIDRICK TAYLOR and Russell Taylor currently reside in Newport, KY. Shannon is a Flight Attendant for Comair. They have a little girl, Elaine Kaityn Taylor. MICHAEL WALTERS and wife, MARY '99, live in Andalusia, AL. Michael is working at Bethany Baptist Church as Minister of Students. He and Mary were blessed last November with the arrival of a baby girl, Nancy. |
