John Robert Baxley was born to MICHELLE MCMASTERS BAXLEY and JEFF BAXLEY on August 5, 2006 in Louisville, KY. He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. They have been in Louisville, KY since August, 2004. Michelle is working part time as a staff accountant at a small engineering firm. Jeff is pursuing a Masters of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. JAMIE BLAIR currently lives in Worcester, MA. He is an Infrastructure Management Senior Analyst for Affiliated Computer Services. DON BLAKENEY is in his second year at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He's pursuing a Master of Arts in Church Music with a focus in Composition. Don's also serving as Minister of Music at Selma Baptist Church in Selma, NC. WESLEY BRASWELL lives in Chancellor, AL. He has accepted a job as student pastor at El Bethel Baptist Church. Wesley is engaged to NICOLE DUTRUCH (current student) and they will be married in Mobile at Forest Hill Church of God on February 25, 2006. MARGARET (JOY) RHODES BREWER lives in Chickasaw, AL and is a Paralegal at Helmsing, Leach, Herlong, Newman & Rouse, P.C. EVANGELIA BROWN lives outside of Birmingham, in Pinson, AL. She is on the clerical staff for McGriff, Seibles & Williams/Attenta. JEREMY BURRAGE lives in Tuscaloosa, AL. He married JENNY HARDY '04 on September 4, 2004. Jeremy is the Student Pastor for Circlewood Baptist Church. MEREDITH DEANNA BUSH lives in Oxford, MS and is currently in her third year of law school at Ole Miss. She plans to return to the Gulf Coast upon graduation. ERIC CARVER lives in Tuscaloosa, AL. and is working on his Master's in Secondary Education. KIMBERLY CRABTREE and husband Chuck, live in Bay Minette, AL. She is a Staff Accoutant for Robertson, Andreoli, & Covington. CONNIE CHAMPION lives in Daphne, AL, and teaches high school students at Chi Alpha Academy in Spanish Fort, AL. JOHNNY COGGIN will graduate from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary on May 12, 2006. He works for Grace Evangelical Church as the Minister of Worship & Young Adults. He and wife, LINDSAY '00, live in Memphis, TN. MARIANNE CORNHILL COLEE married Brent Colee in October, 2004, and they live in Fort Worth, TX. She works for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as a Welcome Center Hostess and Receptionist, and Brent is a student there who also works on-campus in carpentry. DENNIS COX is an accountant for American Tank & Vessel. He and wife, CATHY MILLER COX '94 live in Saraland, AL, and have two children, Dylan Jacob and Mackenzie Leigh. KIM DAVIS lives in Mobile and has been promoted to the Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruiting at UM. RODERICK DAVIS is a Registered Nurse for the Mobile Infirmary Hospital. He is living in Prichard, AL. MARK EUBANKS and wife, April, recently had their first child, Julia Lane Eubanks, on July 25, 2005. Mark is a manager for Walgreen's. CHANDRA LEIGH FLOYD '03 married Jeremy Luman on July 1, 2006 in McLean, VA. ROB FOLEY: "There was a lot packed into 2006 and the beginning of 2007: During the summer of 2006 I was asked by my current employer, A Christian Ministry in the National Parks (ACMNP), to visit its summer staffers in 12 National Parks around the country as the ACMNP Staff Coordinator. That position opened up an offer to join the ACMNP National Office in Freeport, Maine, after completing my graduate studies at Beeson Divinity School. I graduated in December 2006 with a Masters degree in Theological Studies, and soon thereafter moved up to Maine to begin a new job as the Director of Development for ACMNP. All of this was going on while planning a wedding to be held in Minneapolis in Febraury 2007 - on February 10, Leah Hanacek and I were married. We now live in Freeport, Maine, just north of Portland, where I am learning how to raise money for a non-profit and Leah is athletic training at Bowdoin College." ERIN OELSCHLAEGER GAUTNEY and husband, JEFF '01, live in Olive Branch, MS. Erin is teaching 2nd grade at Greenbrook Elementary and Jeff is a student at Mid America Seminary and Minister. As for news, Erin says, "Miss and Love!" ELIZABETH GODWIN lives in Castleberry, AL. She is a Compass Academy Coordinator/Therapist for Southwest Alabama Mental Health. MYRON O. GRISSOM and wife, Amanda, live in Pensacola, FL. Myron works as an RN. LEIGH ANN HART lives in Mobile and is a Case Worker for the Wilmer Hall Children's Home. PAIGE HILL and husband BRAD '03, live in Satsuma, AL. He is a Worship Evangelist, and she is employed at BankTrust as a Real Estate Banker. LARRY IRWIN and his wife, Reita live in Century, FL. Larry worked as a Technical Trainer for the Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and is now the Correctional Sentence TAMMIE T. JACKSON lives in Mobile. She has two jobs, working for Mobile Infirmary as a Pharmacy Tech and for Accu Tax, preparing taxes. She has three children, Demeta, Kennedi, and Gemanda. REBEKAH MORRIS KIRKLAND and husband, Bryan, live in Covington, GA. She is currently a stay-at-home mom to baby boy, Luke, born February 9, 2007. ELISABETH INGRAM LANGLEY was married on July 19, 2003 to Shane Langley. They now live in Birmingham, AL, and Elisabeth works at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church as the Children's Ministry Administrative Assistant. LAURI HIGGINS LINDSEY lives in Mobile. She is married to Josh Lindsey and works as a Registered Nurse for USA Childrens and Womens Hospital. JON MATTOX lives in Mobile and is a professional drummer. He has worked for Benny Hinn, Phar Fletcher, and Alicia Williamson. MARSHALL MEADOWS is a Credit Analyst for Masland Carpets, a Dixie Group Company based in Dalton, GA. Marshall is a resident of Chickasaw, AL and serves on the Chickasaw Historical Commission Board. Although a member of Life Church of Mobile, Marshall serves as full-time interim pianist for Northminster Presbyterian Church. He also operates Music From Marshall, a piano tuning & repair business. SETH REDMOND lives in Dothan, AL, and teaches computer and business classes. CHRISTINA CORUJO RIALS is a school nurse for the Washington County Board of Education. She and husband WADE RIALS '02 live in Chatom, AL. KELI ROBINSON and husband, Justin, live in Bay Minette, AL. Keli works as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Mobile. JULIE SUMRALL RYLE lives in Hueytown, AL. She is a Graduate Student in Mathematics and GTA at the University of Alabama. She is married to Philip Ryle. BRIAN SANDERS and wife Elizabeth, live in Lexington, SC. He is in his first year of law school at the University of South Carolina. BARBARA STEINEKER SAUNDERS recently graduated from medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (May 2007). She will be completing her pediatrics residency at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. On April 10, 2007, Barbara and husband, Jeremiah, welcomed the birth of Catherine "Cate" Elizabeth Saunders at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 20.5 inches long. Proud, big brother is Will. KEITH SIMMONS and REBEKAH HARMS SIMMONS '03 live in Bayou La Batre. Keith works as a hall director at the Alabama School of Math and Science and Rebekah is an Administrative Assistant. They have one child, Noah Brandon. LAURIE SIMON lives in Breaux Bridge, LA. She works for Notre Dame High School in Crowley, LA, teaching American History and is the Head Coach for the Girls Basketball Team. STEPHEN SMITH and wife, Julie, live in Wake Forest, NC. Stephen is a Courier for Warren, Perry, and Anthony. AMBER LUCASSEN SPARKS and husband CHRIS '03, live in Fairhope, AL. They have one child, Emily Brooke. MICAH SUTTON lives in Dallas, TX and is the Health Club manager for Downtown Dallas Health Club. He's also working on a television show that may air nationally on the WB in summer 2004. He's currently dating UM student Brooke Dolan of Spanish Fort and also says that he was Dr.Wood's favorite Comm student! ASHLEY CUNNINGHAM TAYLOR lives in St. Elmo, AL. She is a second grade teacher at Hutchens Elementary. She was married to Nicholas Taylor this past October, 2004. BARBARA BEACHAM THOMPSON and Jeff Thompson currently reside in Grand Bay, AL. Barbara is a RN-ER for SRH. They have three children, Jennifer, Dennis, and Ryan. KEVIN G. THOMPSON and family have been in Kentucky since November, 2005. He is a Captain in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Knox. Wife, Sue, is a homemaker and home educator to children, Anna Lee and Scarlett Elena. KRISTINA "KRISSI" TOWNE lives in Marietta, GA. She is a teacher for the Cobb County Board of Education. RACHEL TRAYLOR lives in Pensacola, FL, and works for Regions Bank. CHARLIE and MELISSA TURNER '02 are currently serving as Student Pastors for Crosspoint Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA. They have two children, Dean and Millie Grace. JUDITH VAN DER HENGST and husband Donald Rush, currently live in Greenbrier, TN. Judith is a stay-at-home mom to her only child, Levi Glynn. RUTH L. WILSON lives in Wetumpka, AL. She graduated from Auburn University in August of 2005 with a Masters of Education in Health Promotion. She recently obtained a position with the Alabama Department of Public Health as a Public Health Educator, in the Cardiovascular Health Program. KRISTI (WHITE) Jones and husband, Steve, are expecting their first child this year. Kristi teaches performing arts at St. Martha School in Louisville, Kentucky.
