We are no longer a dues paying organization! All graduates become members upon graduation. Anyone seeking to support
the University
with a monetary gift is
encouraged to check out the annual
scholarship fund.

Charter members of the Alumni Executive Board have
all agreed and been approved to serve an extended five year term,
feeling
that this will provide a higher
level of continuity for the Alumni in general, in programming, communication,
and events. Board members to follow will serve a three year term,
as detailed in our By-Laws.

New Board members will be selected each year and
officially elected during fall Homecoming activities. Anyone may
nominate someone who
meets the criteria
for
membership, (Article 3, Section 3 of the By-Laws). Applications
will be available online soon. Over the next four years, board
membership
will top off and maintain itself at 25 members.

Here's a few ways...........
- Attend fall Move-In day to
assist new and returning students and their families
- Attend Homecoming/Family
Weekend festivities
- Participate in the Annual Phonathon in the fall (and possibly
in the spring) by speaking to our student callers to update
your alumni information and/or making a gift to the University
Scholarship Fund
- Support our student athletic, music, and theater events
- Become a part of our mentoring program
- Attend our Annual
Summer Breakfast, becoming more informed on University
and Alumni happenings
- Assist with recruiting by referring a student to UM
- Start a local alumni chapter in your area
