Then become a Class Agent!
Simply look over the following information, fill out the quick form
at the bottom of this page letting us know of your interest to be
involved, and someone from the Alumni Association will contact you.
Expectations
and Information for Class Agents:
- Maintain
a positive attitude towards the University of Mobile by
upholding and communicating the interests of UM to your classmates.
- Select a number of contacts from a list of your classmates to
be in touch with. Your contacts could range from 5 to 20; it really
just depends on you and who you'd like to correspond with.
- Contacts would include: Introductory contact,
Homecoming/Reunion information, special campus events, information
updates,
and class giving.
- Class Giving will work in conjunction with
Homecoming or another event, and requests may range anywhere
from $5.00
and up. Alumni
who are able to show financial support, regardless of
the size of the gift, are a tremendous help for the future
of UM!
- Maintain monthly contact with your Decade Leader

A Decade Leader is the primary liason between
your class and the University, and vice versa.

Someone who will
represent all classes from your decade of graduation. This
person will manage and collect montly updates from class agents
and communicate this information to the Alumni Office.

This person
will initiate contact with class agents as needed.

You will "have an excuse" to call up
that old friend or study partner, rekindling those bonds of college
days.

You can help others to be in contact with their college
friends.

You will be fulfilling a much needed
role in
our alumni world, helping us to maintain better relations
with our graduates through updated
information and better communication of events and
programming.

You will know firsthand about events and news
on campus.

Opportunities for you: (optional)

Hold or host a chapter meeting in key areas throughout
the state or country

Assist an Enrollment counselor at a college
day program/fair

Potenial to serve on the Alumni Board of
Directors

Assist with Reunion Planning for your class or
other special interest groups
