UM Announces Members of Jazz Band

The Jazz Band at the University of Mobile is bringing its Big Band sound to another semester of school.

UM’s Jazz Band is an instrumental ensemble with emphasis on diverse stylistic approaches to jazz, blues, swing, rock, Latin, funk and fusion music. Under the direction of Don Wolf, assistant professor of music and director of instrumental studies at UM, students learn technique and develop their jazz improvisational skills.

Members this year include Daniel Ayotte, Matt Brashier, Tom Cherry, Brad Cleveland, Kyle Crutchfield, Ray Harper, Chris Lockwood, Brandy Martin, Jeremy Messer, Jason Montz, Matt Riley, Annel Robayna, Matthew Squires, Brad Threadgill, Wendy Trippi, Doug Weathermon and Nathan Woodward.
