UM Presents Piano Ensemble Concert The University of Mobile will present its Piano Ensemble Concert Nov. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Moorer Auditorium on the UM campus. The concert is free to the public. The concert consists of faculty and students playing on four grand pianos, with two people on each piano for many songs. Among the selections will be Claude Debussy’s “Clair de Lune,” Victor Herbert’s “March of the Toys” and John Philip Sousa’s “Stars and Stripes Forever.” Faculty performers are Carol Evers, Becky Fox, Barbara Laurendine, Duane Plash, Joyce Sylvester and Rosalyn Soo-Mauldin. Students performers include Matt Brashier, Annalisa Cloud, Amanda Davis, Andrew Desko, Emily Ellington, Amanda Graham, Deborah Harden, Jaye Herrod, Nancy Kelley, Phil Mathis, Carrie Morris, Jason O'Neal, Matt Scott, Hannah Shetler, Wendy Trippi and Rachel Williamson. The University of Mobile is a private university affiliated with the Alabama Baptist State Convention. Over 1,800 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Christian Studies, School of Education, School of Leadership Development and School of Nursing.
