SGA Senate Commences Action The SGA Senate has been implemented for the first time this semester at the University of Mobile. It gives a wide range of students a direct voice to the administration and greater influence over how student funds are used. The Senate, which is run according to the protocol of the US Senate, is composed of 36 members who discuss matters of student concern, write resolutions and establish student government rules and laws. Representatives this semester include organization and club reps Emily Ealum (Accounting), Chris Oakley (ATSS), Alyssa Baker (CIS/ACM), Je’Melia Rainer (CMENC), Kerryn Matthews (Int. Club), Tom Dumas (IMF), Tiffany Williams (Kappa Delta Pi), Daniel Lott (MA), Blair Kynerd (PRSS), Ashlie Junker (Reading Council), Jennifer Head (SLATE), Donna Saliba (UMANS) and Nathan Thompson (Alpha Chi); residence hall reps Theresa Forbes and Carlee Stalvey (Arendall); Jennifer Crabtree and Sarah Brantley (Bedsole); Kourtney Campbell and Liz Kelly (Cottages); Micah Blange and Wade Potts (houses and mods); Daniel Atkins, Jeremy Overstreet and John Killian (Ingram); Austin Dixon, Dirk Burton, Jaye Herrod and Lindee Früh (Samford); and commuter reps Nathan Bishop, Tony Weaver, Brittany Chandler, Brittany Hamm, Lindsey Hicks, Jessica Howell, Allison Lawhorn and Joe Stringfellow.
