Students Perform in UM Choral Ensemble

The University of Mobile’s Chamber Singers has started a new season in UM’s Center for Performing Arts. The 11-voice choral ensemble performs vocal chamber works from all style periods.

Chamber Singers members participate in the annual CPA recording and perform during UM events including Night of Worship, StarLight and the annual Christmas Spectacular, as well as other CPA musical presentations.

Members of the group this year are sopranos Meagen Burns, Olivia Dillard, Larrie Reece and Lacy Wade; altos Dorothy Smith and Stacy Buttry; tenors Caleb Graham and Reuben Walter; and basses Ben Fowler, Brent Hudgens and Peyton Kelly.

The University of Mobile is a private university affiliated with the Alabama Baptist State Convention. Students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Christian Studies, School of Education, School of Nursing and Center for Adult Programs.
