December 1 , 2006 UM Students Showcase Musical Talent The University of Mobile Guitar Ensemble has started another performance year. The group is an acoustic ensemble that performs classic, traditional and contemporary pieces, with an emphasis placed on technical excellence. Ensemble members present an annual concert on campus every year and perform in the Center for Performing Arts recital hour. Upcoming guest Guitar Master Class instructors include Eliot Fisk for February 2007. Students in the ensemble are Leah Kathryn Mills, Annel Robayna, Jonathan Hart, Zach Adamson, Jason Givens and Brandon Baker. The University of Mobile is a private university affiliated with the Alabama Baptist State Convention. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Christian Studies, School of Education, School of Nursing, Center for Performing Arts and Center for Adult Programs.
