December 8, 2006 UM STUDENTS PERFORM The University of Mobile praise band Exit 13 has kicked off another performance season. A traveling praise-and-worship band, Exit 13 is part of UM’s Center for Performing Arts (CPA). The group features acoustic and electric guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and vocals. Under the leadership of producer and director Mark Moses, Exit 13 represents the University of Mobile as its members lead worship for youth events, churches, camps and civic events. The band is part of the annual CPA recording and also provided the music for the 2006 Miss UM pageant and has performed as a band with the CPA horn section. This semester, members include Zach Adamson, Adam Neal, Robert Jimerson, Sam Gregg and sound tech Ryan Mayes. The University of Mobile is a private university affiliated with the Alabama Baptist State Convention. Over 1,600 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Christian Studies, School of Education, School of Nursing, Center for Performing Arts and Center for Adult Programs.
