UM Juried Art Exhibition Opens

The public is invited to attend the opening reception of the first annual University of Mobile Juried Art Exhibition on Sunday, May 4, from 2-4 p.m. in Martin Hall.

More than 50 pieces in a variety of media from artists in seven southern states will be on display in the juried show, which is under the direction of UM Assistant Professor of Art Phillip Counselman.
Charles M. "Mack" Clark, UM professor emeritus, is juror.

Those wanting a sneak preview of the show may see the exhibit on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit will be open through May 30, Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
