Grace Institute Strengthens Ministry

University of Mobile students joined leaders from 25 area churches for Grace Institute, a one-day seminar on the UM campus presented by the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. The event, organized by Rick Elllison of the Alabama Baptist State Convention, was hosted on campus by the UM School of Christian Studies. The seminar was designed to help students and church leaders develop effective ministry for all ages in the local church. Several sessions were led by UM faculty and staff,
including Dr. Mark Foley, president; Dr. Cecil Taylor, dean of the School of Christian Studies; and the Rev. Randy Johnson, adjunct professor.
