The University of Mobile Center for Performing Arts presented the modern oratorio "Saviour" at Dauphin Way Baptist Church in Mobile on April 5 and 7. The concert, directed by Dr. Al Miller, featured the 140-member University Singers, 16 soloists and a 50-piece orchestra composed of UM students and professional musicians. A love offering was collected to cover concert expenses. After expenses were met, the remaining $1,400 was donated to the mission project "His Kids Sudan"
(www.hiskids.com) at the request of UM theology major Keri Ladner, who is helping to raise funds to meet the needs of children in Sudan.
