African Safari Photos on Display
at University of Mobile

Photographs of lions, leopards, giraffes, elephants and the landscape of Kenya by local photographer and University of Mobile photography instructor Denis Palmer are on display in Martin Hall on the UM campus through September. The prints may be viewed from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and admission is free.

Palmer, a second-generation professional photographer and owner of Palmer Studio at the Loop, is also president of the Gulf Coast Professional Photographers Association. He is adjunct instructor of photography at the University of Mobile, where he teaches several courses.

Palmer's photographs were shot during a photo safari to Kenya earlier this year. For information, call the UM Public Relations Office at 442-2215.
